I was lucky enough to get a facebook message asking me if I can do a photo session at short notice. Being on leave, I was more than happy to get a message on facebook seeing if I can do a couple session the same day. I was more than happy to say yes. That was just the beginning of my good luck I had that day.
Next, I went to a location that I have never shot before to do some scouting, and to see how I wanted my pictures to look. I came across this after about 15 minutes of scouting. Wow! I loved it.

I am so glad on how this shoot worked out! Here is the backstory. One of the very talented make up artists, Krii Gibson, and I had a conversation about doing a bridal make up look for someone locally for their anniversary. Great idea right? Krii and I posted on our facebook walls to submit a photo of the couple along with their anniversary. It was very disappointed because for a while we got a whole bunch of nothing.

I had the very great pleasure of photographing the Islas Family. The featured photo is of the youngest child Gabe. As soon as I saw this picture appear on my monitor I had a grin from ear to ear.
I met up with my friend and fellow photographer Michael Taylor today to do some street candid photography. We went to Kokasai street in Naha, the busiest city in Okinawa, and this is a candid I was able to capture.
