June 19 2012 I welcomed my son Castiel Joshua Gaede into this world. Right after father’s day; how wonderful! We arrived at the hospital around 1030 am and the induction started around noon.  At 1030 PM Castiel arrived weighing in at 10 pounds 2 1/2 ounces and 22 1/2 inches. Needless to say to anyone that has had the blessing of having a child thats a BIG BABY.

We love every ounce of this handsome boy. I asked my wife how did she do it? How did you push out a 10 pound baby? Her answer was simple. If I knew he was going to be that big I would of asked for a c-section. LOL! She is a champ though. Pushed him out in less than an hour. Closer to half an hour of actual pushing.

There was one very excited sister that came and visited us. Ever since her silly sibling class she has been very excited to see her baby brother and be able to hold him. When she actually was able to hold him you can tell she was very careful and cautious. What a great sister. Now I just have to work on the whole baby sitting while mommy and daddy go on a date. Hahahahha. In a few years of course.

Mommy and baby are doing well and I am doing everything I can to help both of them.
